The Southern Highlands Safety & Security Committee is instrumental in developing the Neighborhood Watch program for all communities within Southern Highlands and provides information on joining Neighborhood Watch, which is designed as a neighbor helping-neighbor program where residents look out for each other, and provide "extra eyes and ears" to assist area law enforcement agencies in protecting lives and property.

Every year the Southern Highlands Safety & Security Committee sponsors a Family Health and Safety Day and everyone in our community is invited. The event is designed to bring together businesses and residents alike, to provide information to make our lives safer, more comfortable, and to make residents more aware of the resources available to enhance the quality of our lives.
